Fleeces now available
These are absolutely lovely fleeces that were skirted once already and will be given a double check before shipping. They are 4-6" in staple and VM free.

Like the look of several, but don't need a full fleece? Fleeces over 4 pounds can be split. When you order just say you'd like half of "So-and-so's" fleece!

If you would like to place an order, please click here to email us at with your FULL ADDRESS, including zip code and I will respond with an order total with shipping.

"Your package arrived today. "Wow!" doesn't begin to cover it. The outstanding combination of genetics and health from nutrition, medical attention and general care lavished on your animals is extremely evident in this fiber. What a lovely presentation, from website to the clean (no VM, scurf, second cuts, skirtings and such I am used to) and thoughtfully packaged fleece, a great sense of aesthetics and professionalism. I have been handspinning for over 30 years and watched the hobby fiber industry grow, but folks like you are still very scarce. What a great number of exceptional skills and talents you bring to what you offer. Grand things and fine details. What a pleasure doing business with you!"

"Thanks Sara for the lovely fleeces. This is my second order from you and I'm very pleased with the quality of the mohair. All of the five fleeces have been just as you described, and more. The luster, color and softness is just incredible. I can't wait to work with them. I'll be ordering from you again. "

    Emily Doubleday

"Just wanted you to know that I really LOVE your lovely fiber, and have already washed both fleeces! The apricot is sooo pretty! The white is also very nice... I see you'll just have to be my mohair vendor! (I've had some awful experiences with poor quality mohair, so am very pleased to have found a person with really nice mohair). I hope that you'll keep me in mind when you have some DARK red kid fleeces... "

"I love your mohair and won't go anywhere else!"

"The wool just arrived and I'm tickled to death! I'll try to do it justice. Like I said...I'm just starting out with wool so I'm pretty green when it comes to this. I've been taking mental notes on what the gals on the spin list say to do. I've got alot of good ideas if I can just turn them into reality. Thanks ever so much for your help."

    Brenda Gibson

"Just wanted to leave a note that I am a first time buyer here and was very pleased with Hill Shepherd and my dealings with Sara. She responded promptly to my request and the fleeces I received are very clean and just as she described."
