The crooks are $90 each, $10 extra if you want it engraved with words (your name, farm name, etc). Vernon hand carves each from a variety of indigenous and exotic hardwoods. The most common requests are for cherry, walnut and maple heads. The shanks are hand fitted on the heads and tipped with a copper tip on the end for protection. If desired your name, your dog's name or your event or farm name is then engraved in the crook head. Once sanded, engraved and shaped the crooks are finished with several layers of urethane to make them resistant to wet conditions.
